The Birthing Hut’s mission is to restore sacred, community-centered Black birth through culturally-rooted care, education, and advocacy. The Birthing Hut LLC. training and certification program is a extensive process covering topics ranging from family planning to postpartum support and community engagement. Our doulas are equipped with historically relevant information and statistics to ensure we are culturally competent and prepared for the task of advocating and supporting Black mothers.
