The PAC, established in 2025, is a multi-disciplinary group dedicated to advancing maternal health initiatives across Pennsylvania. Its main role is to execute the state’s Maternal Health Strategic Plan (MHSP) to improve outcomes for pregnant and postpartum women.

Guided by a vision of equitable, affordable, and person-centered care for every pregnant woman, the PAC works through priority teams addressing five key areas:

The PAC includes about 150 members from across Pennsylvania, representing government, healthcare systems, non-profits, philanthropy, higher education, associations, and individuals with lived experience.
